All you have to do is make a purchase at any participating Vancouver area Gap stores. Then, after 45 days, if the prices on the items you purchased have dropped, they will automatically credit the difference to your Sprize account. Then you can go back to Gap and use your SprizeMoney on whatever you want in their stores!
Wow!

Yes ladies, it’s here. The shoe that defines our age. The loafer. I guess if there was a shoe that represented the 30-something mom… it would be the loafer. Either that, or running shoes. Well, for this season the loafer is back and it is cool. Wow, I just typed those words together. Loafer and Cool in the same sentence. On The City (my guilty pleasure), Whitney’s friend made a comment about a pair of loafers, she said they showed a more sophisticated type woman… wish I could find the quote. You just think mature, older, mother type when you see someone wear these shoes. But, celebrities like Rihanna, Kate Hudson, Lauren Conrad etc are all showing off this latest trend. hmmm…. should I fall victim to this trend and add 5 years to my age… hmmm….

While this neutral shade has been in the spotlight before, it’s not until the re-introduction of flashy shades has this trend become increasingly popular. Nude will not only go with any color you choose in the rainbow, but it will also aid in a woman’s attempt to elongate the legs. Of course Louboutins are worn by majority of the celebrity world… who can miss that trademark red sole. But, let’s get realistic here, not all of us can afford a pair of $700 shoes. I’m sure you agree that money can be spent on other things, more important things… like 7 pairs of Nine West shoes! Nude, beige, taupe… colour can be so subjective. My tip is to find a shade that is closer to your skin tone or darker. This will give that illusion of legs that will go on and on and on and on!

So, my husband is ready to live his dreams of once becoming a NHL player through my toddler boy. Imagine, me as a hockey mom. All I know is that I’ll be getting up at 5AM in attempt to gather all that is necessary for a hockey practice. I don’t even watch hockey. I often complain that the puck is not visible to the naked eye. I care more about the design of the Goalie’s helmet than to knowing the score. I don’t “do” sports. Anyway, here is my shameless plus for a forum I started in hopes to connect BC parents involved in Hockey. I need to make new hockey mom friends so they can teach my a few things. To think, I’ll be yelling and jump in the bleachers… something I never thought I would ever do. Anyway, please pass this forum to anyone you know that is involved with little kid hockey. I’d like to get a feel as to what my husband is getting me into.

A couple of years ago I was searching the internet for events happening in my parent’s area. I came across Steveston Kids, which is an online resource for parents living in or around the Steveston Area. I found it to be quite a useful tool. And, after stumbling upon it a few years later it seems that the small local website grew into a professional go-to resource.
